I think it's true they are using these communications to raise funds. There was a New Yorker article that said they tried to make us feel like we are a part of the process because you can't just 'ask them for money'.
I wonder if our stories will be read by anyone or if they are just a ruse to make us feel involved enough to give more.

It's hard to say whether or not this will prove effective until Obama is in office and able to enact any of the ideas submitted.
At least, for the first time in 8 years, we have SOME transparency with our leadership. It seems to provide an open dialogue, rather than the cold shoulder of psuedo-safety we've been living with.
This is better than it has been and is, if nothing else, a step in the right direction.

It's a political stunt his web site is. Just like the queen of england has 4 people sitting around answering letters as if they were from her. Its all about pr. If there's a politician involved its a way to get your money or vote.

I've grown tired of hearing people who doubt Obama's capabilities.
If they actually knew anything about Change.gov or history, they would understand that Obama is using an idea formed by an extremely successful past president, Franklin D. Roosevelt.
...you know, that one dude that got America out of THE GREAT DEPRESSION.
Anyway, Roosevelt came up with a method of connecting with Americans through what he named: "Fireside Chats". He used technology, the radio, which was then quickly growing in popularity, to address the American public frequently about what was being done in legislation, as well as World War 2, and other important issues.
Obama is doing the same through both Internet and the radio.
I always thought that the idea of Fireside Chats was the coolest thing when I took government in high school. Now, thanks to Obama, it is a reality. : )

It is only appropriate that Obama take advantage of cutting edge technology. In doing so he sends a powerful message to his fellow citizens and the world. It is a message of the future, of hope and promise. Yes we can.

YAWN, He is still asking me for money in my email. Funny since the campaign is over huh? Is it to soon to Change President elects?

This website is vary ignorant. The president should not be making his decisions based on a few blogs or comments from random people. Stuipid people do get online! The rest of America may or may not think like the people on this website.
