Finally Apple seem to have joined with the rest of the industry in making iTunes DRM free, but it still feels as if they are dragging their heels a bit.

wow, hopefully DRM will become a thing of the past.
"iTunes offers customers a simple, one-click option to easily upgrade their entire library of previously purchased songs to the higher quality DRM-free iTunes Plus format for just 30 cents per song or 30 percent of the album price".
Now that just sucks, you already paid for the music with the DRM and now you have to pay to get it removed. It's almost like bribing the prison guard to let you free. Good thing i've never bought music from itunes. -
i-tunes will never be drm free... they are just making deals with the "shell" and "exon mobile" of record companies so all evil profits!
